While still a student I had the opportunity to help out with bookkeeping at friends' family businesses. Just ourt of school, I worked my way up from supervisory to management positions in small companies.Regarding management, for me, it's a been there, done that. I have no interest in managment other than great respect for others working in those roles. I chose to branch out into more hands-on functions to work directly with technical people, engineers, designers, and developers. I have found a niche, in engineering, manufacturing, and IT. I enjoy communicating state of the art technologies to any audience to fulfill their needs and gain great satisfaction doing so.

Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Accounting Management

Reorganized sales, quality control and manufacturing departments achieved a 200 percent increase in company wide sales in six months, with commensurate increases in manufacturing output. Success based on business analysis and troubleshooting to revamp operating procedures. Established VP of Operations Functions. Reorganized sales, quality control and manufacturing departments. Analyzed sales department workflow, proposed and implemented design of how to streamline by computerization. Troubleshooter of manufacturing and inventory control software; submitted analysis of inaccuracies of inventory updates following manufacturing runs. Designed how to correct this problem. Composed and Implemented survey of customer service complaints that resulted in modifying resale inventory. International Sales Manager, Operations and Accounting Management

Supervised accounting and all business relations with worldwide network of distributors for VAX software products. A Fortune 1000 company.

Established 22 distributors in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia . Obtained media coverage in top computer trade journals for VAX networking products. Organized trade shows in Atlanta , London , and Los Angeles .

Troubleshooted and reorganized the accounting department following a major embezzlement of funds. Discovered how the accounting program was altering numbers. Re-established the physical accounting records, managed staff, conducted monthly closings, and prepared corporate, tax and financial statements. Financial planning, A/P, payroll and quarterly payroll taxes.

Assistant/Deputy General Manager of Aluminum Foundry

Managed all aspects of manufacturing, production scheduling, delivery, foundry crew and accounts management. Ran A/P, A/R and collections. Learned concepts of uptime, downtime and redundancy to keep lines operational. Sold about $70,000 of manufacturing to new clients. Investigated upgrading manufacturing quality and quality control and testing..
